Summer's Edge

    by Dana Mele, YA, Thriller/Horror

Why I suggested it: This book had me in a choke hold from the first page. It pulls you in and keeps you glued to the mystery and suspense till the very end. I was blindsided by the ending and left rethinking everything I had just read!

    by Alex Michaelides, Phycological Thriller

Why I suggested it: Puzzling and intriguing, this book kept me guessing from the get go. I was draw in to the patient/therapist dynamic and found myself trying to decode the behaviors based off my own knowledge of psychology. A must read for anyone craving a good “why-done-it”!

A Fate Inked in Blood | Muskegon Area District Library | BiblioCommons

A Curse Carved in Bone | Muskegon Area District Library | BiblioCommons

by Danielle L. Jensen, Romantic Fantasy

Why I suggest these: A slow burn romance from the perspective of an angry daughter looking for revenge? Yes please! The first book had me traveling to a far-off place and fighting battles alongside Freya, feeling her anger and resentment like it was my own. The second book had me in tears as I felt her heart ache and longing for vengeance while fighting the battle within for peace. A gripping saga worth every bump on the emotional roller-coaster!
