Thank you Katie H. for coming to install the pages for a new book families can read at Giddings Park behind the Egelston Branch Library. Suvi tried to clean the panels that had been decorated by birds who read the previous book. The new District Manager needs to add a walk to clean the Story Trail to her schedule as our flying friends have discovered the new book as well... We are waiting for spring flowers to bloom at the Story Trail to tie in our colorful May scavenger hunt made by Alexa. In the meantime, families can answer the questions presented by the inquisitive owl on each page of the trail. Inside the library, the birds seem to be turning into much larger pre-historic creatures at the hands of the talented Laurel getting crafts ready for our Summer Reading fun. What would we do without Stephen holding down the fort on the weekends with our many volunteers district wide. Suvi appreciates your dedication! We can't forget to welcome Annie who jumped feet-first into the library fray!
