Christmas Gift Collection with MADL

Trick-or-treating has barely started, but let’s talk about this year’s Christmas Collection at Muskegon Area District Library!

We are once again partnering with the Downtown Christmas Store, the Noah Project, and the Salvation Army for gift collection. Each of these organizations will have gift tags decorating the Christmas trees displayed inside MADL branches.

These tags will contain information for a specific gift to be purchased and given to an individual in the Muskegon community. Tags from the Downtown Christmas Store are gifts for children and families; tags from the Noah Project are gifts for dogs and cats; tags from the Salvation Army are gifts for seniors.

Starting in November, when you stop by your neighborhood library branch, grab a tag off the tree to find out what community need you can help fill this holiday season.  Once purchased, please bring the unwrapped gift back to the library branch along with its tag. Gift collection will begin at the start of the first week of November, and finish at the end of the first week of December.

Thank you to our community partners, and to all of you for your generosity!
