MABL (Muskegon Area Bike Library) is a new lending program at the Muskegon Heights Branch that offers bike checkouts to Hackley Public Library and MADL card holders.

Bikes will be available to put on hold beginning June 1st every year.
- Bring your MADL library card to the Muskegon Heights Branch. If you're under 18, make sure you come with your guardian!
- Talk to library staff at the front desk. They will help you figure out what bike size you need and put your bike on hold for you.
- You will be required to watch a brief bike safety video and sign a waiver before your bike can be placed on hold.
- Some bikes are available for pickup same day. If there are none available, in 2-3 business days you will receive a notice that a bike is available for pickup.
- Swing by the library to pick up your bike, helmet, and lock.

No! Just bring the bike back at the end of October, and there is no charge.

Yes! Bikes need to be returned in October of the same year. This way we can fix them up and get them ready for next year.

All Hackley Public Library and MADL card holders can get a bike. We will have a variety of sizes for kids and adults!

All bikes will come with a helmet and bike lock.
