Calling all creative writers! Have you always wanted to focus more on your writing? Felt stuck and unable to get the ball rolling? Have you managed to get something started, but find yourself stalling? Interested in trying out new ideas? Want to get together with other writers, share your work, and get feedback?
Come to the Egelston branch on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. We’ll gather with fellow creative writers to mingle, share our work, spark inspiration, and grow our craft. A variety of writing exercises, including games and prompts, will help us keep our creative momentum moving forward!
The Writer’s Hub is just for adults, but we also have a couple sessions specifically for teens! We’re hosting creative writing mini-workshops tailored just for middle and high school students. We’ll work on creating characters, strategies to get to know your characters inside and out, and fun ways to generate your own writing prompts to get inspiration flowing.
For adults:
Creative Momentum Writer’s Hub - first and third Tuesdays of the month from 5:30pm-7pm.
For tweens/teens:
Creative Writing - Friday, October 2nd and 16th, from 3:30pm-4:30pm.
