Frequently Asked Questions

If you are moving to a new device, you will now need to use the "Copy to Another Device Tool."  To do this, you will need access to both your old device and your new device. On your new device:

1. Choose "Yes, I have a Library Card."
2. Choose "Recover your data."
3. Choose "Display setup code."
4. Keeping this code up, return to your original device.
5. Go to the home button (the middle icon in the Libby app).
6. Scroll almost to the bottom and choose "Copy to another device."
7. Enter the number that is displayed on your new device.

Libby will do that for you automatically! When you first go to sign in to Libby:

1. Choose "Yes. I have a Library Card."
2. Choose "Search for a Library."
3. Search "Lakeland Digital Library."
4. Choose "Sign in with my card."
5. Choose "LDL - Muskegon Area District Library"
6. Enter your card number. 
7. You should now see the Lakeland Digital Library as well as all of our partner libraries!
