At the MADL Muskegon Heights Branch, we believe the library is more than just books — it’s a place where community care happens every day. That’s why we’re proud to partner with VITA Tax (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) to offer free tax preparation services to our community during tax season.

Free Tax Help — Because Our Community Matters

We understand that tax season can be stressful. For many individuals and families, filing taxes can feel overwhelming and expensive. By teaming up with VITA Tax, we’re making sure our neighbors have access to trusted, professional tax assistance at no cost.

Service Days & Times

Free tax services are available at our branch on:

  • Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Wednesdays: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Last check-in: 3:00 PM

We encourage community walk-ins to arrive early, as appointments are prescheduled @211!
