Award winning author, journalist, and illustrator, Dave Eggers, is coming to Muskegon! Join us at the Frauenthal on November 17 to hear him speak on his journey. Dave is the author of all three of the 2026 Big Read Muskegon titles:
Little Read: What Can A Citizen Do? Written by Dave Eggers and illustrated by Shawn Harris. A growing group of children gather and collaborate on turning a lonely island into a community tree house.
Middle Read: The Eyes & the Impossible Written and illustrated by Dave Eggers. See the world through the eyes of a wild dog as he observes the changing world around him.
Big Read: The Circle Written by Dave Eggers. A recent college grad becomes more and more entangled in the ideals of her tech company employer who purport that “privacy is theft.”
